R1 Selects and evaluates the place of cognitive linguistics in the linguistic sciences; A student reconstructs the history of origin of this research; describes and explains the specifics of this area of ??research.

A student can define goals and objectives of cognitive linguistics; is able to identify and build interdisciplinary links with other cognitive linguistics linguistic and related sciences.

R2 A student uses the concepts and principles and applies scientific conceptual apparatus in the field of cognitive linguistics to practical professional tasks; a student classifies different directions of cognitive linguistics by methodology of their research and their basic research facilities; a student applies the basic methodological principles and methodical techniques of cognitive linguistics research to solve practical problems in linguistic studies.
